Home Builders Association holds 2010 Awards Ceremony

The awards are given to show appreciation for the members' hard work over the course of the year.

Honorary MembershipThis award was first given out in May of 1998 to recognize individuals who provided exemplary and extraordinary services during their membership in the Association, but who are no long involved in the home building industry trades or services.

Lee Oestreich, Action Door Company

~ Lee joined the association in March 1991. He is now officially retired from the business which his son-in-law, Dan Dewhurst now owns, ~ Served on Board of Directors 2002 - 2006 ~ Homes of Our Own Presenter 2004. Lee has also helped with picking up the trees in Wisconsin Rapids for us when the delivery schedule does not work ~ Home Show Committee 2004 to present - Co-Chair 2006 and 2007 ~ Lee is always helping with the Home Show during the week of set-up and during the show he is actively involved with the family construction projects. It is with his help that these projects ideas came about. He helps with the get cutting of the wood, donations solicitations, etc. He puts in many hours of volunteer time during this week and weekend. ~ Building & Grounds Committee – 2004 to present. Helps with the outside work around the building, even helped with cutting the grass. ~ Lee has been a great volunteer to the association. We hope that he will continue to be an active member.
