2008 Home and Garden Show

 
Homeowners and home buyers in the Fond du Lac and surrounding areas will have the opportunity to view over 56,000 square feet of building, remodeling, landscaping and decorating products and services at the 2008 Home and Garden Show slated for March 28 – 30.
 
The show will be held in the Recreation and Expo Buildings at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds. The event is sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Fond du Lac & Dodge Counties and Co-sponsored by Campbellsport Building Supply and Millwork Distributors, Inc.
 
Started in 1968, the annual home show is one of the largest trade shows in the Fox Valley.
 
Following are the event dates and times:
Friday, March 28, 5 – 9 pm
Saturday, March 29, 10 – 5 pm
Sunday, March 30, 10 – 4 pm
 
Admission is $6.00. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
 
In addition to the exhibits, the Home & Garden Show offers a schedule of seminars on Friday, Saturday and Sunday by the industry experts.
 
On going events: Family Bird Feeder or Bird House. Children and their families are welcome to build either the bird feeder or the bird house and will be able to take them home. Members of the association will be helping the children with the construction. This event is being held all three days.
 
Woodworking Competition will be on display in the EXPO building. These are outstanding projects created by area high school students.   Also on display will be the Design Competition plans from the area high schools.
 
 
 
 
“EXCAVATION STATION – Can you Dig It”  will be a new event for children ages 3 – 12. This event will be held on Saturday only from 11 – 4 pm. Kids will get to use, with a licensed operator, all the equipment. Moving gravel, digging a hole or just pounding the ground are all things the kids can do and more. The cost of this event will be $3.00 per child.

EXHIBITORS

The HBA's annual Home & Garden Show was started in 1968 and is one of the largest trade shows in the Valley.

Homeowners and homebuyers in the area view 56,000 square feet of buildings, remodeling and decorating products and services. In addition to the exhibits, the Home & Garden Show offers a comprehensive schedule of seminars. The seminars offer the public programs, which are presented by industry experts, ranging from window installation to creating a beautiful garden.

The Home & Garden Show attracts thousands of qualified prospects interested in new home construction, remodeling and home improvement products. Members receive substantial discounts on space and promotion for the event.

Space reservations are first offered to members of the association by receiving their same booth space back, and then to the general business community. Booths sell fast and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
